At Eye Physicians & Surgeons, we strive to remain at the forefront of the field. In the past few years we have introduced many advances in cataract surgery to the state of Iowa, including new intraocular lens design and intraoperative guidance and verification for cataract refractive surgery.

A cataract is a clouding of the lens inside the eye.  Just like the lens of a camera, if the lens of the eye is cloudy, the eye cannot take a clear picture.  This clouding of the lens often happens over many years.  In the early stages, a change in your glasses prescription can help counter the effect.  However, eventually, you may need cataract surgery.

At Eye Physicians and Surgeons, we believe in staying at the forefront of advancements in medical and surgical techniques.  We utilize small incision, sutureless, microsurgical techniques to remove your cloudy lens and replace it with a clear artificial lens implant. In addition, we offer the latest in implant lens technology as well as intra-operative ORA technology to aid in lens selection.
